About the event
Deena ElGenaidi is a writer and editor in Brooklyn. Her debut novel, Dust Settles North, comes out on September 30. Deena’s writing has been published in Vulture, Insider, Nylon, Salon, Electric Literature, and more. She holds her MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers University-Camden and her MA in English from Villanova University.
Laura Venita Green holds an MFA in fiction and translation from Columbia University, where she was an undergraduate teaching fellow. Her fiction won the Story Foundation Prize, received two Pushcart Prize special mentions, and has appeared in Story, the Missouri Review, Joyland, and Fatal Flaw. She grew up in Germany and rural Louisiana and currently lives with her husband in New York City. Sister Creatures, an October Indie Next pick, is her debut novel.
