Drafting in the Drawing Room with Nicole Treska

In this six-week course we will touch on all aspects of the writing life: drafting, grammar, syntax, genre, story construction, beginnings, middles, ends, edits, The Biz of Writing, and everything in between. Students will generate 10-15 pages of new writing through prompts and discussion of different narrative or stylistic approaches. We’ll hold one group in-class workshop, and a final class reading. There will be ample time for Q&A, and possible guest speakers. Students will leave with an improved sense of their own writing, projects, and place in the writing world.
